Interview with Leading Dermatologist Mitch Goldman, internationally renowned cosmetic dermatologist.

Dr Mitch Goldman, leading international cosmetic dermatologist in a recent interview at the Cosmedix conference in Cairns, stated Cosmetic Medicine has come a long way in recent years. Dr Goldman says that with the new techniques available doctors are able to use new biostimulatory agents and treatments can take a matter of minutes. Dr Goldman says the modern way of looking at Appearance Medicine is about gradually making people look better.
Dr Goldman defines biostimulation of the skin as a new way of doing things. Dr Goldman says that this newest way of doing things involves injecting things under the skin that coaxes the body into making more Collagen and elastin fibres. Goldman says that the biostimulatories are also used to treat actual diseases such as side effects of HIV drugs.
The interviewer Dinnen asked about risks. Goldman says the biggest risk is going to an inexperienced practitioner. Dr Goldman recommends consulting a doctor who is an expert in what they do. Dr Goldman says that is very important.
